Delegation of Belarusian business circles to visit Serbia 13-15 May

MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – A delegation of Belarusian business circles will visit Serbia on 13-15 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The Serbian city of Novi Sad will play host to the 78th International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Breeding on 13-21 May. The exhibition will showcase agricultural equipment, fertilizers, latest achievements in plant cultivation and animal breeding, food, beverages, technologies for packaging, transportation and storage of agricultural products, etc. Every year the exhibition features 1,500 exhibits from over 60 countries and welcomes more than 500,000 people. On 13-15 May the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Novi Sad. The delegation will be led by BCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov. The delegation will partake in the business forum, business matchmaking session and visit the exhibition. The visit will help promote products on the Balkan market, attract investors to Belarus’ economy, including investors for the privatization of state property in line with the privatization plan of enterprises owned by the Republic of Belarus in 2011-2013. This privatization plan was approved by Council of Ministers’ Resolution No 348 of 21 March 2011. There are also plans to buy new equipment and technologies with the use of foreign credit lines.
