We are in an active phase of preparation for the presidential elections of 2025, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko said on the TSV TV channel, BelTA reports.

"We are in the active phase of preparing this campaign. Let me remind you that the elections must be held no later than July 20, 2025. The decision is made by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. We will start appropriate consultations with the deputy corps in the near future after the opening of the session," Igor Karpenko said.

According to him, methodological recommendations and information materials have already been prepared. "We are completing the development of the visual concept of the election campaign, which we will also officially approve," the head of the Central Election Commission said.

"I can also say that a surprise will be waiting for our young voters who will vote in the elections for the first time," Igor Karpenko added.
