In the Orsha district, under the leadership of the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, a meeting on territorial defense is being held with the leadership of the regional territorial administration bodies. The chairmen of the city district executive committees, deputy chairmen of the city executive committees responsible for territorial defense issues, heads of territorial internal affairs bodies, military commissars of the districts were involved in the gathering.

– Our task is to develop a common approach, an understanding of the issues that territorial defense solves, – said Alexander Subbotin. – It should give the protection of the state a nationwide character. We are checking the effectiveness of our defense, the operational ability to deploy it solely to protect our territory, our people, and to preserve peace and tranquility.

During the meeting in the Orsha district executive committee, Dmitry Volfovich, the military commissioner of the region, reported on the military and political situation in the country. Igor Moroz, Chairman of the Orsha district Executive Committee, informed the audience about the working procedure of the District Defense Council when making a decision on the current situation in the region.

The participants of the gathering moved to the training places, watched practical exercises "General characteristics of the location of territorial troops (TV), equipment of military special equipment, organization of the security system." As well as the procedure for using the educational and material base during the combat coordination of TV units.

As part of the training, they showed the control point of the TerO district headquarters, its structure and security system.

The spectacular part was waiting at the checkpoint. The scenario of repelling an enemy attack was played out here. The participants of the training camp were able to observe the coordinated, clear actions of the personnel of the TERO forces during the attempt to break through illegal armed groups into the city.

Practical exercises will be held in Barani on the formation of militia units, their preparation for tasks, and a scenario will also be played to repel an attack on a protected object and eliminate the consequences of the use of weapons by the enemy.

The shooting championship among the chairmen of the city executive committees will be held in Bolbasovo.

The training camp will end with summing up the results and awarding the winners of the shooting competitions.
