First phase of Belarusfilm reconstruction project to be completed by September 2009

The first phase of the reconstruction of the National Film Company Belarusfilm will have been finished by September 2009, BelTA learned from Vladimir Kuntsevich, the deputy director general of the National Film Company. The reconstruction schedule has been changed as new objects added to the investment project. The first stage of the reconstruction features capital repairs of the main building of the Company, a hostel and construction of a new building and almost 40,000 m2 of housing. The construction site has already been cleared. An official ceremony to start the construction of a new production building housing all technical services and two studios will be held on March 3. Lithuania’s investment company Khaner is involved in the Belarusfilm reconstruction project.
