MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – More than 140 Belarusian companies and organizations will take part in the week of science and technology of the Chinese Province of Guangdong which will be held in Minsk on 23-27 July, BelTA has learned from the Polytechnik technological cluster of the Belarusian National Technical University.
The event is aimed at developing the sci-tech and business cooperation between educational, research and industrial companies of Belarus and China. More than 160 people from China will arrive in Minsk to take part in the forum. The Chinese delegation will include top officials and businessmen of the Guangdong Province, heads and specialists of more than 80 leading Guangdong companies.
Chinese research centers and organizations will organize a special exhibition in Minsk to demonstrate their best sci-tech achievements. At a research forum, scientists of both the countries will discuss the prospects of the bilateral cooperation. Chinese businessmen will meet with representatives of Belarusian administrative bodies, representatives of educational and research organizations, leading industrial companies of Minsk.
The sides are expected to sign the agreement on sci-tech cooperation between the Belarus State Committee for Science and Technology and the Guangdong Province Government.
The week of science and technology of the Chinese Province of Guangdong is organized by the Belarus State Committee for Science and Technology, the Polytechnik technological cluster of the Belarusian National Technical University and the Guangdong Province Government.
