DOKSHITSY REGION, 15 May (BelTA) – The well-being of ordinary families attests to the stability in Belarus, Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet told reporters after visiting the Grishanovs family in Begoml, Dokshitsy Region on 15 April, BelTA has learnt.
The meeting was held upon the initiative of the Vietnamese President, he wanted to get an inside scoop of everyday life of an ordinary Belarusian family. Marina and Alexander Grishanovs have a farmstead, bathhouse, vegetable garden, cow, pig and hens. The President of Vietnam was interested in virtually everything: how they grow the farm animals, what fuels they use for the bathhouse, who helps them about the vegetable garden, where they work and how much money they make.
After the Vietnamese guest saw the farmstead and received answers for all his questions, the Grishanovs treated the Vietnamese delegation to homemade sausages and bacon, cheese made to family recipes and a pie with apple jam.
The President of Vietnam noted that Belarus has well-developed agriculture and transport. He was impressed by the hospitality and cordiality of Belarusians. “I saw how happy the people were. Such families are a testimony to the stability and well-being of the country,” Nguyen Minh Triet said.
