MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – The most effective measures should be taken to prevent the drain of civil engineering personnel from Belarus, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as he visited a construction site in Minsk on 15 June.
Speaking about the emerging trend for the personnel drain from the Belarusian civil engineering industry, Alexander Lukashenko stressed: “We are not interested in it. This is why we should tell these job hoppers this: we cannot allow you to leave the country and go abroad for construction projects. You leave the country for another one. You may go. But the family will pay for 100% of utilities cost. You will pay for 100% of medical care cost. We leave kids and the family out of it. If you don’t bear social burden, if you don’t help the state, you have at least to pay for the utilities and medical care”.
“Then these job hoppers will think twice about leaving the country. Earn the money and come to pay the bills,” said the head of state.
Alexander Lukashenko told the government to go ahead with these instructions starting H2 2011 “We are leaving education terms unchanged,” he said. “We are staying here, paying taxes, paying for healthcare and utilities. We have to think more [about other areas]. No prohibition but they have to pay the bills here,” said the President of Belarus.
